An All-Inclusive Experience

What To Expect

This trip is custom-tailored to our group. From the time we meet until the time we bid farewell, absolutely everything is taken care of, and everything is considered. All gear is provided and we use only the highest-quality equipment both on and off the water.

ACCOMMODATIONS

We will be staying at Wes' on his 13-acre farm on the James River. When we're not out fishing, we'll enjoy all the property has to offer—relaxing by the river, sharing conversation around the fire, or kicking back in the den.

MEALS & BEVERAGES

This is an all-inclusive trip with all meals and beverages covered. Breakfast is served with hot coffee each morning at the lodge. Eat lunch on a secluded island or shoreline away from the public and everyday life. Enjoy a meal at the lodge prepared in-house. Meals are all handmade and all of your dietary restrictions and special needs (whether you're a carnivore, vegetarian, or vegan), are covered.

NON-STOP FISHING

Our biggest goal is to leave you with an experience and a day outdoors that you will never forget. When we get out on there, we hit 'em and we hit 'em hard. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned veteran, we use all of our experience and skills to get you on the best fishing possible—the best time with us possible.

Meet Our Guides

Wesley Hodges

The first time I ever had a fly fishing rod in my hand was in Colorado at a Boy Scout Camp, and that moment stuck with me. Ever since that time, I've been in love with the outdoors to the extent that it fully consumes me. My life has taken some unexpected turns, serving in the military, going to university, and eventually winding up getting involved with Project Healing Waters. I started guiding fly fishing for Project Healing Waters and that started my guiding career.

I love guiding and I love teaching clients something new and something better that maybe they've never done before to land that trophy fish. Also, I love guiding because people get so consumed by everyday life and just basic living that I love giving them the chance to get back outside and get in touch with what they really are passionate about.

It's about trophy fish and harvesting nice birds, but it's also about living life to the fullest.
